Oh boy I waited for this game for so long on PC, there's a big emotional charge to it, but it isn't what I will talk about. Really fun with friends. It sucks that not many people own the game though, it's really underrated. A fantastically charming game with lots of well crafted levels, a simple concept which is played to its fullest without overstaying its welcome, great visuals, plenty of replayability and solid controls.
The music is catchy and the platforming is tight, with enough to keep it constantly interesting. It also features a host of cameos of characters from other games who are playable although sadly they offer no real gameplay differences.
Also the little quips the game gives whenever you die can be outright hilarious. Great and original platformer, for a local play or a solo play, just, play it with controller. I am really into coop games these days since I have a few friends that are always down to play with me. We gave this game a go and it was an awesome time. Whenever I see one in particular that rages and others laugh at him, I know we have a hit in our hands.
There are many modes and levels and it can last you a lot long. Runbow is an addicting, fun and very very colourful game. I'll say that. Amazing Game! I can't stop playing. Beautiful visuals, amazing sound. A must play. So glad it got ported over to steam, I was getting jealous of my friends with a wiiu. We tried the game as a group of 4 and unfortunately it wasn't any fun. Maybe the big mistake was to play it after SpeedRunners.
This is wonderful party game. If you have up to 9 controllers to connect and a screen to sit around, having everyone race and punch each other to the finish lines has been hours of fun.
